For this series or work, I am exploring the use of my own photocopied portraits as the basis and with the use of common materials readily available in the workplace (for example markers and correction pens) to create a new me. Life is too short to be too hard on ourselves all the time, take a break, laugh at ourselves sometimes, it helps. I felt this reflects Singaporean of my generation. We were told to take things seriously and taught to excel in everything we do.
